Peter Martin was born June 8th, 2003, and was raised in Walpole Massachusetts. Growing up Pete always was interested in films, even as a little kid he adored the director commentary tracks on DVD’s. At the time this was merely an interest, present day this interest has become more of a potential occupation.
Pete also is a lover of music, playing trombone in middle school band as a precursor for his radio show he hosts now. That radio show being completely run by himself is put on by Marquette University’s local radio channel. Peter’s favorite part of this job is the freedom to just play fun music and talk to the listeners as if they were all just a bunch of friends hanging out.
While juggling the responsibilities of hosting his own radio show, Pete is studying film and media studies with the hopes of one day being in the film industry. There is no specific job that he would like to do, he simply wants to be a part of the film scene in whatever way works. Peter values movie reviewers and reviews, and believes that if everyone was simply honest and not scared of disagreeing with the majority, the industry as a whole would be more creative and open to all.
Though Peter may be fearful that he will not be able to accomplish his goals, right at this moment he is happy with where he is in life, next year he hopes to bartend at a Marquette sponsored bar to be able to connect with more people. If Pete doesn’t make millions of dollars then he won’t care, what he truly cares about is being honest and kind to everyone.
